McDowell Mountain Ranch
McDowell Mountain Ranch is an award winning 3,200 acre master-planned community situated in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona. First conceived in 1992, McDowell Mountain Ranch is made up of 26 distinct neighborhoods and almost 4,000 homes. Many recreational opportunities are available to its home owners, including a daily fee golf course, community pools, tennis and an extensive trail system.
There are over two miles of lighted pathways through the beautiful desert landscape, connecting a five-acre community park and clubhouse with trail access to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Over $130million was spent on infrastructure and site improvements which included miles of paved and natural trails, a narrow-cast cable TV station, a Community Center, the McDowell Center, two heated pools and spas, children's playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic and green areas.
